My first pits
These are my induction into the pituophis world. I met Jenea and Steve Wood from Guardian Reptiles at the Pensacola expo and Jenea put one of the patternless hatchlings in my hand. I thought it was really cool, but just bought some frozen feeders from them and heded home. All of a sudden I could not get that snake out of my mind. By the time I got home over an hour later, I had already made up my mind that I would get one. That next friday (the 13th), I met her and Steve back in P-cola to pick up these babies!
Here's Hunny, a female patternless/speckled:
And Mojeaux, the ghost male (he wasn't into the prop):

Those are still some nice shots. I really like the look of a patternless.
I got to hold a juvenile this weekend. Not yet an adult but man was this thing smoking at 4 feet.

Re: My first pits
Very nice pickups, I the same way, kept going back to the table that had the NM pines. I would say to myself I don't need any more snakes specially another species that takes different housing. Ended up walking away with the pair.
Congrats
